We bike

Recently bought this one-speed bike at the marché aux puces (flea market) in Montpellier. I am in love, and have named it Claude, a jolly french name.

All it needs now is a basket on the front!

We decorate: Our new rooms

For us, September means back to school, and back to school means moving into a new place. This of course means packing, moving and unpacking which is a hassel. But luckily it also means decorating our new rooms! This includes adventures to places like Ikea and Value Village to find the right supplies. Here is our end product:

We shop: Aritzia winter 2010 Collection

After viewing Aritzia's winter collection online, we are flocking to the nearest location. Aritzia has delivered as always; the line has everything from great jackets and socks to unique pieces. Check it out!

We venture: To Seattle

We traveled to Seattle, Washington to see the legendary Bob Dylan, live in concert. Our destination? The Bumbershoot Music festival. The show was amazing and very much worth the trip. While we were there we also got to catch shows by Atlas Sound and the Decemberists. Bob Dylan put on a great show and now I can officially cross one off my bucket list.

We see: Haroshi

Artist Haroshi uses old skateboard decks to create his artwork. His recycled boards are shaved and sculpted to make up the most intricate mosaics.
He is mostly known for his 3-dimensional work, but some of the 2-d ones are equally as impressive.

We knit: Marian Cowl

Finally got around to knitting the Marian Cowl, a project I've been eying for a while now. I've been holding off, in hopes of finding just the right yarn. I stumbled across the so-very-luscious twinkle soft chunky yarn at Gina Brown's today, and purchased it right away in "french grey". I settled in with my new project while watching a movie and finished it in just a few hours. It was such an easy knit and I'm so happy with it!
