We eat: Loaf de Banane

The Recipe:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups or about 4 mashed ripe bananas
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and mashed banana. Mix until smooth.

Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda and add to the banana mixture alternately with the sour scream, ending with the dry ingredients. Spoon and spread half the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.

Combine cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle half the mixture over the batter in the pan. Top with half the chocolate chips. Repeat layers. Bake at 350F for 50-65 minutes.
