We knit: Dana Barnes profile

Dana Barnes is a knitwear designer who has designed for the likes of Elie Tahari, Adrienne Vittadini and Tommy Hilfinger in the past. Now, she has focused her attention on making giant crocheted rugs, all handmade by her and the few staff members she employs. Her SOHO loft (the ultimate dream apartment) serves as her studio for the creations she sells under her label Souled Objects.

On another note... I have just started felting myself. I'm making the Felted Slippers designed by Melynda Bernardi (of French Press Knits) with some turquoise wool from the Kingston, Ontario fair. I'm crossing my fingers that everything will turn out!
