We knit: Vintage Turban

I started knitting this vintage 1940s turban pattern January 7th with Sublime cashmerino wool... my absolute favourite brand. I ran out of wool and was forced to put the project into hibernation until I finally got around to buying more. As of today... (finally!) it is complete.

This really is very pretty. You inspired me to also make a more voluminous version. I am working with a worsted weight yarn at a gauge of about 5 stitches to the inch. Were you able to get pattern gauge of 7 stitches to the inch? Did you modify the pattern?

I'm not sure what my gauge was in the end, but I didn't modify anything if that helps! Good luck with your project, I'm happy you liked mine!

Hi, I know this is way after the fact, but I am wondering if you still have this pattern available? My email is meloise317@gmail.com

I looked all over Ravelry and couldn’t find anything close!

Thanks!

I know this is 13 years after your post, but your turban looks exactly like one I would like to knit! Do you still have the pattern available? My email is meloise317@gmail.com. Thank you so much!
